Taryn
Taken as a young girl and sold into slavery, Taryn acted as a chambermaid for a wealthy nobleman, until the night a young thief stole into her master’s abode and slit his throat! Certain her life would be better if she could just escape her servitude, the young maiden coerced the thief into taking her with him and taking her on as an assistant! She learned swordplay and knife-work, how to slip by in shadow or cause a distraction, and she lived free!

Lt. Ann Li
Lt. Ann Li of the International Space Exploration Agency is the pilot of the second crew on a deep space mission charged with helping get the craft back to earth when the ship is 20 years out! Kept in a stasis sleep which slows the passage of time on the outgoing voyage, Ann wakes to find the other tubes empty or broken and the ship empty except for one other lifeform! Even if she escapes the horror planned for her, she’s lost in space with no chance of return with countless possible fates awaiting her, most of which aren’t good!

Jenn DeLora – P.I.
Jennifer lost her hearing at the age of 10 after a childhood illness. After finishing high school, she joined the workforce, finding a job with private detective, Jerry Logan, as his secretary! While Jerry may have hired her for her looks, she proved to be both capable and loyal, staying with him when his formerly booming business began to lose steam in the late 1950’s. By the early 1960’s, Jerry was barely able to make ends meet, and taking any job he could find. Jerry could be an ass, which is part of the reason his business had fallen off, but over the years they developed a genuine platonic friendship based on mutual affection. Jennifer didn’t forget that he had given her an opportunity to earn a living and she helped him out any way she could, including going undercover when the situation called for a woman’s touch!
It was on an undercover job for Jerry that her world was torn apart and her life changed forever when she found herself alone in a future she could not have imagined! Having time-traveled to the past, and now the present, she’s hung up her own shingle, continuing Jerry’s legacy as Red Delora, Private Investigator!

Sofia Pinero – The Ace
Sofia Pinero is a young doctoral student in physics, having earned a masters in Engineering from Purdue University. Always ahead of her class in school , she skpped several grades but grew up self-conscious, wanting to fit in with her classmates but always behind socially. A wallflower her whole life, she concentrated on her studies and developed inventions that she was able to sell to finance her higher education. Her greatest invention, however, she has kept to herself: Technology that creates a force-field around her that can slow the force of bullets to harmless levels, with the side benefit of increased power and speed for her own actions.
Her power bracelets are ready for real-world testing and Sofia is ready to break out of the shell of her youth! She’s finally mature enough to take advantage of the opportunity for physical and emotional growth provided by the university experience. Naturally athletic, she’s begun training to increase her strength and endurance, and she’s learning karate. All so she can better utilize her invention in fighting the crime rampant outside the safety of her classrooms. As she takes on the city’s gangsters, she’s learning a lot about who she is and who she wants to be, but she’s also learning her metamorphosis is not without danger!

Alina Aguilar – Jungle Adventurer
A botanist by profession, Alina Aguilar has spent countless hours in the wilderness and jungles, primarily in central and South America, searching for adventure and discovery! Her familiarity with the terrain and the dangers allow her to earn extra income as a guide, and also make her an invaluable resource for the intelligence community looking out for the interests of the United States. Comfortable with her sexuality, she’s not above using her considerable physical charms to her advantage, but the unwanted attention she routinely attracts has put her in perilous situations more often than she cares to remember! The dangers posed by wild animals don’t compare to the evil intentions of some humans she’s met, and, while she has always proven fully capable of taking care of herself, she is aware that the price of her exciting and adventurous life may be the end of it!

Another Pittsburgh show is in the books! Had a great time and purchased some nice sketches! This one of the Ace was pencilled by Ed Coutts and then digitally inked and colored by Koa Beam from a digital photograph of the original pencils. Pretty cool process which I got to watch! More to follow!
