Our erstwhile heroine is
based, in some measure, on actress, model, producer, and technical
advisor for shows presenting the deaf and hearing disabled community,
Jennifer Delora. Born in the Hudson Valley in the year in which
the tale told in "Smoke and Mirrors" begins, Jennifer now resides in
sunny southern California. An advocate for the deaf, she has appeared
at numerous conventions across North America where she has delighted
fans with her engaging personality. Jennifer has great enthusiasm
for her latest role as a comic book heroine, and appreciates that she
can be a role model for other deaf people.
